The Music Wiki's 2012 Concert Series
Show #5: The Beach Boys

Our Concert Series would not be complete without A. Something for the old timers and B. A strong dose of Americana.

Surprised these guys are still around? Well you shouldn't be. Who else but The Beach Boys would become America's first pop band to reach the 50-year milestone? Of all American bands in history, they've sold the most albums and singles and have released the most Top 40 hits, with 36. And despite the differences they've had in the past, this national treasure has reunited for a 50th Anniversary world tour (see dates below).

Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston, and David Marks must be sippin' from the same fountain of youth from which Mick Jagger frequently guzzles, because not only is their tour currently in full force, but they are also releasing a new album on June 5th. That's Why God Made the Radio will be the band's 29th studio album. Hopefully they will make it to 30!
